Special Weather Statement issued June 5 at 6:46PM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI At 645 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Neillsville, moving east at 35 mph. Other clusters of thunderstorms were impacting much of southern and eastern Marathon county. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Wisconsin Rapids around 740 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Milladore, Sandhill Wildlife Area, North Wood County Park, Big Eau Pleine County Park, Elderon, Pike Lake, Moon, Auburndale, Hewitt, and Blenker. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Flood Advisory issued June 5 at 5:54PM CDT until June 5 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Marathon County in central Wisconsin... * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 554 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
