SOURCE...Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists. IMPACT...Hazardous travel. Portions of I-10 in El Paso county, and western Dona Ana county. Eventually Deming and HWY-11, and also HWY-9 will also see blowing dust. Locations impacted include... West El Paso, East El Paso, Central El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Far East El Paso, Mission Valley, Tornillo, Fabens, Clint, Horizon City, Columbus, Santa Teresa, Anthony, Deming, Sunland Park, Akela, Canutillo, Afton, San Elizario, and Vinton. Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible.
