Special Weather Statement issued May 3 at 3:45AM EDT by NWS Charleston SC Areas of fog will develop across many areas this morning, especially away from the coast. The fog will become locally dense, reducing visibilities on area roadways. If there is enough coverage of the dense fog, then a Dense Fog Advisory would be necessary. If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
