MARYS, STATE COLLEGE, AND WARREN.

Special Weather Statement issued June 25 at 6:16PM EDT by NWS State College PA At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles northwest of Tyrone, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Osceola Mills and Houtzdale around 620 PM EDT. Sandy Ridge around 625 PM EDT. Chester Hill, Philipsburg, and South Philipsburg around 630 PM EDT. Black Moshannon State Park around 640 PM EDT. Port Matilda around 645 PM EDT. Julian around 650 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include West Decatur, Ramey, Brisbin, Unionville, and Pennsylvania State University. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for central Pennsylvania.
