Flood Watch issued April 30 at 1:10PM CDT until May 1 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Craig, Nowata, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee and Washington OK. * WHEN...From 9 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this evening along a frontal boundary slowly moving into the region. Potential exists for training of storms along and near the OK/KS border through the overnight hours over already saturated areas. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches will be common, with locally higher amounts of 4 to 5 inches possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 30 at 10:58PM CDT until April 30 at 11:15PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK At 1058 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of Marland, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Osage and northwestern Pawnee Counties. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

Flood Advisory issued April 30 at 10:33PM CDT until May 1 at 1:45AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Oklahoma, including the following counties, Craig, Nowata, Osage and Washington OK. * WHEN...Until 145 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1033 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlesville... Vinita... Nowata... Pawhuska... Dewey... Fairfax... Barnsdall...
