HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and up penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations in or near the path include... Miami... Vinita... Commerce... Fairland... Afton... Welch... Bernice... Bluejacket... Narcissa... Bernice State Park... Hollow... Pyramid Corners... This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 282 and 309. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, low lying areas around Miami become cut off from easy access. Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be threatened. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is cresting and will remain near 19.0 feet through this evening before beginning to fall.
