Flood Watch issued June 27 at 4:50AM CDT until June 27 at 12:00PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton and Carroll and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Central and Southern Sequoyah, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Northeast Osage, Northern Sequoyah, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Southeast Osage, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington OK and Western Osage. * WHEN...Until noon CDT today. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will continue through Saturday morning. Illinois River near Tahlequah affecting Cherokee County. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Illinois River near Tahlequah. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, minor flooding occurs from near Hanging Rock downstream towards Tahlequah. Floating the river is too hazardous due to strong turbulence. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.2 feet early Monday morning. - Action stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
