Special Weather Statement issued July 10 at 4:32PM EDT by NWS Northern Indiana At 432 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Ottawa to near Kalida. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Ottawa, Bluffton, Columbus Grove, Kalida, Pandora, Glandorf, Cairo, Beaverdam, Gilboa, Cloverdale, Vaughnsville, and Rockport. This includes Interstate 75 between mile markers 132 and 141. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
