Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 20 at 5:02PM MDT until June 20 at 5:30PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY At 501 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 20 miles northeast of Berea to near Antioch to 11 miles south of Alliance Municipal Airport to near Courthouse And Jail Rock, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. A wind gust to 80 MPH was recorded at the Alliance Airport at 452 PM MDT. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Alliance, Bridgeport, Broadwater, Northport, Bridgeport State Recreation Area, Angora, Morrill County Fairgrounds, Courthouse And Jail Rock, Redington, Alliance Municipal Airport, Wild Horse Butte, The Intersection Of Highway 385 And 92, and The Intersection Of Highway 385 And L62. Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from windows.
