For the High Wind Warning, from 9 PM this evening to 4 AM MDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses are part of the story during extreme heat and high humidity events like this. Make sure to limit time in the sun. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will struggle to drop below 65 degrees at night, so make sure to have ways of keeping the air cool in apartments and homes. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments.
