LOUIS THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AITKIN, BRAINERD, CASS LAKE, CLOQUET, DULUTH, EAST GULL LAKE, ESTERDY, GRAND RAPIDS, INTERNATIONAL FALLS, LAKE SHORE, PINE RIVER, SCHLEY, AND WALKER. West central St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota... * Until 145 PM CDT. * At 1248 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Lake Winnibigoshish to near Days High Landing to near Schoolcraft State Park, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Severe thunderstorms will be near... HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Nashwauk, Pengilly, Hibbing and Keewatin. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows.
