THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ILLINOIS THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS WHITE IN INDIANA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 4 COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA POSEY IN SOUTHWEST INDIANA SPENCER VANDERBURGH WARRICK IN KENTUCKY THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN WESTERN KENTUCKY DAVIESS HENDERSON MCLEAN THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BOONVILLE, CALHOUN, CARMI, EVANSVILLE, HENDERSON, OWENSBORO, POSEYVILLE, AND ROCKPORT.

Flood Watch issued May 8 at 2:18PM CDT until May 9 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following areas, Ballard, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Christian, Crittenden, Daviess, Fulton, Graves, Henderson, Hickman, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Muhlenberg, Todd, Trigg, Union KY and Webster. * WHEN...Through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will produce heavy rainfall capable of flooding commonly flood prone areas. These storms will also have a tendency to repeat their heavy rains over the same areas.
