In Southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.

Verdigris River at Coffeyville affecting Montgomery County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Verdigris River at Coffeyville. * WHEN...From this evening to late Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Farmlands begin to flood as flood waters flow over left bank levees. Flood waters may begin to impact land inside the southeast section of the city's levee system near Wood Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 1.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 23.8 feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away.
