Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued June 21 at 3:14AM CDT until June 21 at 6:00AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 362 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 6 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 11 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS BUTLER COWLEY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS ALLEN CHAUTAUQUA ELK GREENWOOD LABETTE MONTGOMERY NEOSHO WILSON WOODSON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ANDOVER, ARKANSAS CITY, AUGUSTA, CEDAR VALE, CHANUTE, COFFEYVILLE, EL DORADO, EUREKA, FREDONIA, GRENOLA, HOWARD, HUMBOLDT, INDEPENDENCE, IOLA, LONGTON, MADISON, MOLINE, NEODESHA, PARSONS, ROSE HILL, SEDAN, WINFIELD, AND YATES CENTER.

Flood Watch issued June 20 at 2:57PM CDT until June 21 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Wichita KS * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Allen, Greenwood and Woodson. * WHEN...From 1 AM CDT Sunday through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Complex of storms will move out of central KS late tonight and will linger through Sunday morning. Storms will produce high rainfall rates that may lead to flooding. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
