Movement was southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Maquoketa, Anamosa, Dyersville, Monticello, Cascade, Epworth, Farley, Peosta, Lowden, Olin, Hopkinton, Wyoming, Oxford Junction, Lost Nation, Worthington, Martelle, Onslow, Monmouth, Toronto, and Morley. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Maquoketa, DeWitt, Grand Mound, Delmar, Lost Nation, Charlotte, Welton, Toronto, Nashville, Hurstville, Baldwin, Lyons, Eden Valley Refuge, Maquoketa Caves State Park, Maquoketa Municipal Airport, Jackson County Fairgrounds, Buckhorn, Elwood, Walnut Grove Park, and Clinton County Fairgrounds. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately.
