In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin and Sullivan. White River at Petersburg. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Illinois... Wabash River at Covington down to Vincennes. White River at Edwardsport...and at Hazleton. .Minor river flooding continues tonight on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Riverton, with the crest between Terre Haute and Riverton...and on the White River at Edwardsport. Additional heavy rainfall expected late Sunday and Sunday night will lead to rising river stages early next week...with minor flooding also starting on the Wabash at Covington and Vincennes Monday night...and on the White River below Edwardsport on Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute. * WHEN...Until Monday, June 29. * IMPACTS...At 21.5 feet, All of the area on the west side of the Wabash River is flooded from Sugar Creek to U.S. 40 and I-70. South Lake becomes part of the wetland project. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 PM EDT Saturday /8:30 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 19.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 PM EDT Saturday /8:30 PM CDT Saturday/ was 19.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.6 feet Tuesday evening.
