In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin and Sullivan. Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 21 at 8:04PM EDT until June 21 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN At 804 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles west of Bedford to near Shoals to near Washington, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Bedford, Shoals, Mitchell, Loogootee, Montgomery, Cannelburg, West Boggs Lake, Indian Springs, Tunnelton, Huron, Burns City, Lacy, Williams, Spring Mill State Park, and Silverville. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for south central and southwestern Indiana. Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
