Flood Advisory issued July 3 at 9:43PM CDT until July 4 at 1:45AM CDT by NWS Chicago IL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook and Will. * WHEN...Until 145 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 943 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Some locations have already received multiple waves of rainfall, with additional thunderstorms moving into the area. Urban flooding of yards and roadways may begin shortly. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
