Flood Watch issued June 26 at 7:32AM CDT until June 28 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. * WHEN...Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected through Saturday. Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall from thunderstorms could produce flash flooding. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Wabash River at Vincennes. .Widespread rainfall amounts of two to three inches over southern Indiana through midday Saturday is expected to prolong minor flooding or bring an additional crest on the lower White, lower Wabash, and at Seymour on the East Fork White. Minor flooding could continue into early next week on portions of the lower White and lower Wabash. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes. * WHEN...Until Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Some flooding at Kimmell Park in Vincennes. Agricultural lands flood in the St. Francisville, Illinois area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 AM EDT Friday /9:45 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was 15.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 16.4 feet early Sunday morning.
