St. Andrews Bay Waterways... * Until 715 AM CDT. * At 607 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 7 nm west of Mexico Beach, or 14 nm northwest of Port St. Joe, moving east at 20 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage vessels...and create suddenly higher waves.
