Heavy Rain Risk Area The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam while with more rain in the South and isolated heavy rains remains in the North, the Northeast and the East regions. The wind and waves prevailing over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf is strengthening. The rather strong wind forces the wave in the upper Andaman Sea upto 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while about 2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore by lasting 15 July 2026. In addition, typhoon “BAVI” over Pacific Ocean is expected to move through Tywan and make landfall over the eastern part of China during 11–12 July 2026. The storm is forecast to not move to Thailand. The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you're going to be visiting.
