yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 7:21 a.m. ADT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts and heavy rain. An organized area of thunderstorms are currently affecting northern Cape Breton and latest radar returns suggest the potential for locally very strong wind gusts as well as very heavy downpours and potentially small hail. ### Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
