Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Yellow Medicine and Chippewa Counties. .River levels are still steadily increasing on the main stem Minnesota/Mississippi, however the smaller rivers and streams have leveled and will decrease as we experience dry weather for the next several days. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 732.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 732.4 feet on 06/21/1996.
